Students and Hiroki introduce a collaboration born from a shared belief: the walk in golf is part of the curriculum.

Being a student means understanding that the classroom can exist anywhere. For our latest study abroad program, Students traveled across the Pacific to New Zealand as a foreign exchange student to learn from Hiroki, immersing ourselves in the Kiwi approach to golf, sport and life. The lessons were simple: follow the dress code, your score doesn't define your day, hard work beats talent, and most importantly, in New Zealand, you carry your clubs.

That final lesson became the foundation of the collaboration. Walking has always been part of golf's journey, the time between shots to think, reset, talk and appreciate where the game has taken you. Hiroki reminded us that carrying your clubs connects you to that experience. Our campaign follows a group of foreign exchange students learning these lessons firsthand, moving from the classroom to the course until one thing becomes clear: the walk is part of the curriculum.

But a cultural exchange goes both ways. While Hiroki introduced Students to the Kiwi way of golf, Students brought a piece of our own sporting culture to New Zealand. The collaborative bag draws inspiration from retro basketball shorts, naturally translating basketball's visual language into golf. Mesh fabrication references the shorts themselves, striped lower paneling nods to classic Chicago Bulls uniforms, and leather trims reference the material of a basketball. Every material, panel and detail was considered… nothing was overlooked.

The result is more than two brands putting their names on a golf bag. It's an exchange of cultures, ideas and perspectives: New Zealand teaching us to slow down and appreciate the walk, and Students bringing influences from outside golf into the game. By the end of the program, the lesson is simple: work hard, worry less about the score, respect where you are, bring a little of where you came from, and always enjoy the walk.

Once a student, always a student.
